• The traditional way to produe chevron belts is by filling the mold by hand. This process always have the risk - the profiles may separate from the base belts when running. The new process tech is Integrated curing chevron belts. The profiles and the base belts cured integratedly, it have no risk of separation of profiles and base belts.

• If said, the rubber compound have excellent abrasion resistant as per DIN testing. but it is only suitable for conveyor belts. For Slurry pump rubber liner, it is not. The abrasive materials with water,transported by the pump,it needs very special abrasion resistant rubber compound design.If use the excellent abrasion resistant rubber compound of conveor belts,it will damage very soon.

• Mainly,there are 3 splicing method: Cold splicing - Suitable for Textile conveyor belts Hot splicing - Suitable for all conveyor belts esp. Steel cord conveyor belts Fastener splicing- Suitable for Textile conveyor belts Those 3 splicing way have advantage and dis-advantage.But the most reliable splicing is Hot splicing. For quick splicing, Fastener and new flex splicing will be the option.
